Angel Canal Festival

Islington Boat Club is very proud and happy to be part of the Angel Canal Festival.
Every year the club provides FREE tasters of various activities out on the City Road Basin, a perfect sheltered environment for learning many watersports - our main one being kayaking.
Our British Canoeing/Canoe England qualified coaches will be taking small groups out on the water for short taster sessions throughout the day.
We will also have pedalos; cream teas on our barge the Water Gipsy; stalls and a Bellboat Regatta at 1pm. The mayor of Islington will be starting the races!!
We hope that people enjoy themselves so much that they either join the Youth Club 9 to 19 years; the Upperdeckers Club over 50 years or visit the Regents Canoe Club who use our facilities for adult kayakers on Mondays and Thursdays!
Please come along and join in the fun, we are based at 16-34 Graham Street but the festival will be stretched along the towpath of the Regents Canal................ more info here
