Team building and corporate events
Over the past few years the surrounding area has been developed to give public access from City Road which makes the Basin an ideal and unique venue for events, both corporate and public.
As a charity, Islington Boat Club does its very best to raise funds for itself by organising or facilitating private events on this beautiful and rare expanse of water. We are a non-profit organisation; any money raised is for keeping our facilities open for the local community.

We can offer full safety cover and equipment, consultation and a spectacular backdrop! We have an on-site kitchen, workroom and changing rooms with showers and toilets. Even if your event is on another waterspace, we can offer safety consultation and services – please contact the club for more information.

Our basin is the second largest piece of open space in the borough of Islington and offers a plethora of opportunities for water based events, shows, location shoots, food events and even pop up markets.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We are happy to provide a BBQ at an extra cost - please enquire.
Can we extend to a social evening?
Yes, with a BBQ or buffet, drinks and music (low level).
Can we view the site beforehand?
You are very welcome to call in at the club to check out the facilities and chat about what you would like to do. Please email admin@islingtonboatclub.com for an appointment.
