OUR IMPACT

At IBC, we’re all about making watersports accessible and affordable for everyone in our local community. Check out the activities we offer below!

AOB (All On Board) is our dedicated programme for young people with additional needs—designed to offer a safe, supportive, and fun environment to enjoy watersports and build confidence on the water.

Our Youth Club is open to young people aged 8 to 17, with sessions running after school, on Saturdays, and during school holidays. It’s a great way to get active, make friends, and have fun on the water!

Our Schools Provision offers local and neighbouring schools the chance to enjoy watersports as a fun enrichment activity—or take part in an accredited six-week course. It’s a great way to build confidence, teamwork, and new skills outside the classroom

Our Adult Watersports include paddleboarding and kayaking sessions give local residents the chance to enjoy the calm and wellbeing of being on the water—while meeting new people and building connections along the way.

Our RYA courses. We’re a certified Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training centre, offering courses to help you feel confident and capable on the water. Our Inland Waterways Helms course is perfect for narrowboat users looking to improve their skills and safety. We also offer Diesel Engine Maintenance—a practical course that keeps you moving and can save you money in the long run
