We encourage all Islington youth to come join our club where you can make new friends, learn new skills and enjoy the canal.
If you are over 50, join our popular UpperDeckers club to try something new, meet new people, keep active and have fun on the water.
School watersports take place all year round.
Protective clothing is provided for inclement weather.

Our free All On Board club promotes an accessible and welcoming environment for people with additional needs.
As a charity, Islington Boat Club does its very best to raise funds for itself by organising or facilitating private events on this beautiful and rare expanse of water. We are a not-for-profit organisation; any money raised is for keeping our facilities open and available for children in the local community.
Offering Royal Yachting Association Inland Waterways courses and powerboat courses; British Canoeing - Canoe England kayaking and canoeing courses; MIAS mountain biking courses.
We have activities for all ages from 19 years upwards, including SUP and yoga.
Our UpperDeckers club is specifically for 50+ and has a variety of watersports and canal activities.
We are always looking for ways to raise funds for all of our services.
If you feel you can help, either with sponsorship, fundraising ideas or connecting us with potential funders, please let us know.
As a registered charity, Islington Boat Club is reliant upon the generosity of people enable us to continue providing the affordable or free services we offer to young people, people with additional needs and over-50s.
As with most charities we rely heavily on the help and support we receive from our volunteers.
We have opportunities across the wide range of services we provide.
