We are delighted to be back on the water – with Special Thanks to Islington Council who continue to support us.

The Club is also very grateful to the Plaquemine Lock for their generous support.

As a charity, Islington Boat Club does its very best to raise funds for itself by organising or facilitating private events on this beautiful and rare expanse of water. We are a not-for-profit organisation; any money raised is for keeping our facilities open and available for children in the local community.

Corporate hire

Offering Royal Yachting Association Inland Waterways courses; British Canoeing - Canoe England kayaking and canoeing courses.

Courses and training

We have activities for all ages from 19 years upwards, including Kayaking, Narrowboat Cruises & Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP).

We are always looking for ways to raise funds for all of our services.

If you feel you can help, either with sponsorship, fundraising ideas or connecting us with potential funders, please let us know.

As a registered charity, Islington Boat Club is reliant upon the generosity of people enable us to continue providing the affordable or free services we offer to young people, people with additional needs and over-50s.

Volunteer

As with most charities we rely heavily on the help and support we receive from our volunteers.

We have opportunities across the wide range of services we provide.
